Madewell’s summer 2025 collection settles into the soft light of Mexico City. The season unfolds, drawing from the city’s textures, including sun-warmed stucco, leafy boulevards, and stone corridors that filter the afternoon heat.

The clothes feel easy without drifting into laziness. Chore jackets, cotton-linen shirts, and open-stitch cardigans are layered over tanks and tees. The silhouettes fall wide and relaxed, offering a subtle nod to mid-century leisurewear while staying grounded in the present.

Model Jeenu Mahadevan wears the season’s looks with a natural flow. One shot places him in the shadow of an ochre wall, linen shirt-jacket unbuttoned over seersucker corduroy shorts.

Another image finds Jeenu in a striped camp collar shirt and patch pocket shorts, the outfit dialed into the sun-faded atmosphere of the city. The palette carries through with soft blue, ivory, and stone, reflecting the color of the buildings and the light between them.

Madewell continues its conversation around smart dressing, first seen in spring 2025, now translated into clothes that breathe and move with the heat. Sweater polos drape over tees and denim holds a relaxed shape.

This season is less about direction and more about presence. Mexico City shapes the mood of the collection, offering old stone, filtered sun, and a pace that lets clothes settle into the day.
