The Jungle of the Sky–Showing in Florence, Kenzo creative directors Humberto Leon and Carol Lim created a world of gods and pilots. Hinting at Kenzo’s romantic past, the pair balanced sleek simplicity and a more commercial streetwear-inspired aesthetic. Dressed in poetic shades of blue, great oversized coats spun a tale with the overcoat, reinterpreted bomber, parka and other quintessentials. Departing a sweet moment, Leon and Lim felt more at home with an eclectic showing of prints, colors and fabrics colliding for a bit of everything. A boxy outerwear number on steroids prompted a combination of red, burgundy and black while Crayola-hued stripes exploded on tops and pants before transitioning into a rather somber cloud print married to a rugged aesthetic for quite the rustic adventure.
