American Abroad–Ernest Alexander designer Ernest Sabine revisits midsummer nights and his experience living abroad in Venice for the label’s spring/summer 2014 collection. Imagining evening garden parties, relaxing under the light provided by lanterns, Sabine captures an old world elegance with fine colors and prints. Mixing tailored pieces that include the double-breasted jacket and outerwear with more casual garments like the pocket tee, a chic laid-back attitude is reinforced. Offering bright spots of color with their signature Liberty prints, Ernest Alexander continues the party with hues of pink, purple and orange. Rounding out the collection, the Alex Brief and the Ludlow Carryall are introduced as the perfect accessories for travel.
