Since 1910, Zegna has prided itself as being a brand establishing its own path. It’s even more meaningful now that the road ahead has become the graphic signifier for Zegna’s newly rebranded visual identity of “our road.”
Symbolic and literal, the Zegna road passes through Piedmont’s Oasi Zegna, a free-access natural region. This road, often known as 232, inspires Zegna today. It reminds the fashion house of its founder’s fundamental truth of striving to provide the fabric for a future worthy of our dreams.
For fall-winter 2022, Zegna’s journey continues with the vision of its artistic director, Alessandro Sartori, as he translates the brand’s identity into a contemporary picture of the ideal wardrobe. A repertoire of new forms and functions integrates aesthetics. After all, according to Zegna, a language is a living creature that changes, consolidates, and expands through time.
“I keep looking at the world through the Zegna lens. The reality we live in today requires adaptability; it asks us all to be fluid,” says Alessandro Sartori. “Translating this idea into clothing means building a language of shapes and textures that grows and consolidates over time, matching the needs of the moment. The notion of the hybrid is one I keep exploring because there’s progress in erasing staid categories.”
Zegna’s collection interprets how contemporary style should look and feel with a refined sense of formality that seamlessly flows from the outdoors to living spaces inside. The tone is set by layering and combining shapes and functions.
As a fall standout, fine leathers dress cashmere-bonded shirts that you can wear alone or under blazers. Meanwhile, sweaters and pullovers translate to outerwear with the distinction between inside and outside, layers and outerwear blurring.
