Roberto Cavalli artistic director Paul Surridge continues to reshape the fashion house for spring-summer 2019. Approaching Just Cavalli’s new collection, Surridge sought a balance between the label’s rock ‘n’ roll heritage and what men seek style-wise today. The results include a juxtaposition of signature Cavalli quirks like the use of animal prints with a contemporary streetwear vibe. It’s a no-brainer that denim plays a big part in this narrative. Embracing both slim-fit and relaxed styles, the collection’s jeans complement current trends. Surridge delivers embellished denim as well as light washes that tap into the nineties style trend. Bomber jackets, graphic sweatshirts, and printed shirts also make the edit. Finally, tailoring is an option for the Just Cavalli man with sharp jackets and trousers adding a rock vibe.
