Hermès captures the elegant spirit of leisure with its spring-summer 2019 collection. Véronique Nichanian prepares the label’s man for warm summer days in style. Inspired by nature, a color palette of rich earthy colors such as dark green and brown is juxtaposed with bold splashes of yellow and orange. Continuing to adopt a sporty motif, tailoring features active details as Nichanian delivers essentials like a pair of pleated joggers. Meanwhile, leather jackets and shirts are plentiful. The use of contrasting colors brings subtle details to otherwise minimal pieces. In addition to playing with the idea of the tracksuit, the collection features slouchy sweaters and shirts finished with asymmetrical zippers. The key standout for accessories this season is the trendy belt bag, offered up in ombre colorways.
