Romeo Beckham

Romeo Beckham is a British model whose career began with Burberry as a child and developed alongside a serious commitment to football. The son of David Beckham and fashion designer Victoria Beckham, he grew up with both professions close at hand, eventually moving from campaign photography into international runway work.

Romeo made his modeling debut at ten in Burberry’s spring-summer 2013 campaign, released in December 2012. Photographed by Mario Testino, he joined a cast that included Cara Delevingne and Edie Campbell. Further appearances in the house’s Christmas advertising followed in 2014 and 2015.

Football became a professional pursuit too. Romeo played for Fort Lauderdale CF, later known as Inter Miami II, before joining Brentford B on loan and signing a permanent contract in 2023. His fashion work continued during those years, including Saint Laurent’s 2021 denim advertising and its fall 2022 campaign.

His relationship with PUMA linked the two parts of his working life, beginning with a football partnership and extending into FENTY x PUMA imagery. Discussing that collaboration with Highsnobiety, Romeo said, “I love the footballification of fashion.” He pointed to the way football jerseys had become part of London’s street style, describing a connection he knew as both a player and a model.

After leaving professional football in 2024, Romeo made his runway debut at Balenciaga’s spring-summer 2025 show in Paris. Subsequent appearances included Versace and Burberry, extending a fashion career that had begun in advertising into the different demands of a live show.

Burberry remained a personal connection as well as a professional one. For his first Met Gala in 2026, Daniel Lee developed a custom look from a double-breasted Burberry suit Romeo already owned. “I have such strong memories of that first job,” he told British Vogue, recalling his childhood campaign. Returning to the British house as an adult connected his earliest experience of modeling with the career he had chosen to pursue.
