Tommy Dunn
Tommy Dunn is an American model from New York whose career began with Bruce Weber photographing him for Abercrombie & Fitch. His athletic build and dark hair became part of the American fashion imagery of the 2000s, particularly through his association with Tommy Hilfiger. Before modeling, he attended Long Island University’s Southampton campus, where he played NCAA lacrosse.
Fragrance advertising gave him a prominent solo role. For the 2008 launch of Hilfiger, Tommy appeared in photographs by Greg Williams and a television commercial filmed by Harris Savides. The motorcycle imagery drew on an interest he pursued away from work.
In a 2008 interview with Vanity Fair, he said, “I try to be well rounded and I have a lot of different interests.” His favorite photograph of himself showed a fishing achievement, holding a striped bass caught off Long Island.
His subsequent portfolio includes Carolina Herrera fragrance advertising and campaigns for Gap, alongside Italian menswear. A recurring relationship with Tagliatore included the label’s fall 2017 campaign.
Magazine work has taken him into VMAN and GQ, as well as a cover of Elle Man Vietnam. In Robb Report’s 2021 “Best of the Best” issue, he appeared in a yacht-based fashion story. Later assignments for John Varvatos continued his connection with American menswear.
Real estate developed into another professional field. Tommy’s professional profile records a New York real estate license issued in 2019 and work with the Corcoran Group, alongside property development. It adds a practical business career to the international working life established through modeling.
