Jacey Elthalion

Jacey Elthalion began working on a fruit and flower stall in South London at 11, years before fashion became his profession. The British model joined Select as a teenager, starting a career that would take him from Dries Van Noten to international fragrance advertising.

Recalling those beginnings in a 2020 interview with DA MAN, Jacey identified Dries Van Noten as his first campaign and credited his agency with helping shape his life. “Select is like family to me,” he said. The appeal of modeling was practical as well as adventurous, offering an income and the chance to encounter other cultures.

He singled out his first fragrance booking in the late nineties as a professional turning point, explaining how it changed the way other clients saw him. “Doing Ralph Lauren was a big changing point in my career.” The fast pace of runway shows also appealed to his energetic temperament.

By the time Jacey appeared in Guess’s fall-winter 2008 advertising, he was already an experienced model. Another significant booking followed with Louis Vuitton’s spring-summer 2013 campaign, photographed by Alasdair McLellan. His later work included the launch collection for David Gandy Wellwear in 2021, placing him alongside a fellow British model as Gandy established his own clothing label.
