Jester White

Jester White is an English model from Southend-on-Sea, Essex, whose career began with a chance encounter while walking his dog. Born Luke White, he was scouted in March 2012 and signed with Select Model Management. Within a year, he had walked for Dior Homme and Dries Van Noten, joining the international show circuit as London was establishing its dedicated menswear fashion week.

In a 2013 model diary for Wonderland, Jester recalled that he had been taking a course to become a security guard before being scouted. His first show was for Westminster’s graduating students. The professional runway soon became a place where he learned to trust his natural walk, while London’s shows gave him a particular sense of belonging. He also described himself as a mod, explaining his attraction to longer coats.

His early work included a Topman Design story for Fashionisto, photographed for the magazine’s fifth issue in 2012. His freckles and sharply defined cheekbones became recognizable features of his fashion work. In 2016, British Vogue singled him out following his appearance in a film presentation for Hill and Friends, noting a portfolio that already included Topman and Versace.

Later assignments extended his work into established tailoring and jewelry houses. He appeared in BOSS’ fall-winter 2019 traceable wool collection imagery, followed by work for Brunello Cucinelli with Mr Porter and campaigns for Chaumet. More than a decade after his debut, he walked in Ferragamo’s fall-winter 2025 show, continuing a runway career that had begun during the first seasons of London Collections: Men.
