Roberto Sipos
Roberto Sipos is a Romanian model from Cluj-Napoca whose freckles and reddish hair have made him a recognizable face in men’s fashion. He began modeling at fifteen, developing a career that brought him from the international show circuit to a fragrance campaign for Narciso Rodriguez.
His early experience taught him how closely casting followed age and physique. Speaking to Fashionista in 2015, Roberto recalled struggling to book major jobs when he first started because he looked so young. “As I get older, it just gets better and better,” he said. He also described the different expectations he encountered across fashion capitals, from the slender silhouettes favored in Paris to the more muscular bodies often booked in Milan.
Runway work for Thom Browne and Etro helped establish his international career, alongside editorial appearances in Interview and VMAN. In 2020, he became the face of Narciso Rodriguez’s For Him Bleu Noir Extrême, photographed by Viviane Sassen. His first fragrance campaign made his face the central image of a product, extending his work beyond the seasonal business of presenting clothes.
The following years brought prominent roles in luxury advertising. Roberto appeared in Prada’s 2024 Made to Measure campaign and joined the cast of Neiman Marcus’ thirtieth-anniversary The Art of Fashion campaign that fall. These bookings placed him within established luxury identities while retaining the freckles that had distinguished his earliest photographs.
For the 2025 launch of Levi’s Blue Tab, Roberto worked with Juergen Teller, adding a major denim project to his portfolio. He also continued on the runway, walking for Dunhill’s spring-summer 2026 collection. More than a decade after discussing the restrictions of looking too young, he was still developing his career through both photographic assignments and live shows.
