Paul Smith’s fall-winter 2026 campaign dresses for adulthood, then takes the afternoon off. Photographed by Samuel Bradley, model Vasko Luyckx moves through New York with the ease of someone who likes wearing a tie but has no particular interest in getting to the office. That attitude gives the collection’s ’90s reference its appeal.

The roomy tailoring and long coats suggest a grown-up wardrobe, while Ben Schofield’s styling keeps it loose enough for a day spent wandering. Full trousers are central to that balance, lending a shirt and tie an easy bearing and giving an ecru cotton-and-merino Henley a little more authority.

Tucked in and finished with an eyelet belt, the Henley feels as dressed as the tailoring, even when Vasko is swinging from a lamppost. Bradley’s playful street scenes take their cue from this freedom of movement, turning the city into a place for small diversions. A long stride becomes a leap; an errand involves a trolley piled with bagels. The pleasure is in seeing clothes associated with responsibility put to such cheerfully unproductive use.

The playful approach to tailoring also runs through Paul Smith’s Sometimes, Always, Never edit with Walton Goggins, which turns suit-buttoning etiquette into an occasion for country-house mischief.
