Gucci returns to silk with a project that feels archival and present at the same time. The “Art of Silk” pulls ten scarf designs from the Florence archive and places them back into circulation under Demna’s direction.
The selection spans Flora, animal motifs, and maritime references, all preserved in their original density while shifting into 2026 through context and styling. The approach is direct. The prints hold their original composition, and the framing around them does the updating.
Gucci “Art of Silk” Campaign

Bobby Brazier fronts the “Art of Silk” campaign, posing for images by Anuschka Blommers & Niels Schumm. He wears Gucci’s scarves across different settings, from a head wrap paired with tailoring to a full drape that becomes the look itself.
The real weight of the project sits further upstream. Gucci has tied these pieces to a renewed silk supply chain in southern Italy, working with regional producers to rebuild an industry once central to Calabria. At a time when heritage campaigns tend to stop at the image, this one extends into production and labor, placing the scarf back in circulation with a connection to where and how it is made.

Gucci’s archival instinct extends into accessories across the board, including its spring 2026 eyewear campaign.
