Chanel has named Pedro Pascal its newest House Ambassador, a pairing that places one of Hollywood’s most recognizable actors inside a brand evolving under new creative direction.
Matthieu Blazy, who succeeded Virginie Viard as creative director, has been reshaping Chanel’s public identity with an emphasis on warmth and personal connection. Pascal fits that direction.
The Chilean-American actor, best known for The Mandalorian and The Last of Us, described Blazy’s approach as powerful, elegant, and warm, while Blazy praised Pascal’s kindness and open worldview.
The relationship between Pascal and the house predates any formal title. He sat front row at Blazy’s debut Chanel show for spring-summer 2026, held at the Grand Palais in Paris last October, and later wore Chanel to the 98th Academy Awards in Los Angeles. That sequence tells its own story, a courtship conducted in plain sight before Chanel put a name to it.
