Storrie’s VMAN debut cues the arrival of a performer who understands that style functions as a second script. Storrie admits he originally ignored this world but changed his mind after experiencing the power of a well-made garment. “The moment you start trying on really nice clothes, you understand why people love it so much,” he tells Mathias Rosenzweig.

The feature’s aesthetic channels an exaggerated 1940s noir sensibility that feels entirely fresh on a star known for modern athleticism. Storrie embraced the physical demands of the shoot and found a spark in the collaborative process.
“The energy was so kinetic,” he notes while reflecting on the freedom he felt to move through the space. “It reminded me of ads or photo shoots I used to see when I was little—stark black and white, really cool, fashion-forward.”

Despite the massive success of Heated Rivalry, Storrie remains focused on the craft behind the flash. He views these elaborate outfits as another layer of his performance, equating the high-fashion experience to a sophisticated game of make-believe.
“Playing dress-up is my favorite thing, which is probably why I’m in film,” he explains during the interview. Storrie expresses a hunger for genre-bending roles, citing an interest in exploring everything from the comedic to the macabre.

“I’ve never really done a comedy, I’ve never really done a horror—I’m still very new to working,” Storrie admits, signaling a desire to “stretch out” and “be bold.”
As Connor Storrie prepares for the stage at Saturday Night Live, this VMAN feature confirms he possesses the range to handle his new position in the cultural conversation. Look for the issue when it hits global newsstands beginning March 16, 2026.
