For the October/November 2025 issue of L’Officiel Argentina, Christoph Waltz steps out of character and into dialogue with time itself. The actor appears in an interview feature by Jesica Taranto, photographed by Frederico Martins, styled by Pablo Patané, and produced by Daniele Carettoni for Espresso Productions.
Christoph Waltz for L’Officiel Argentina

Connecting with L’Officiel Argentina, Waltz speaks of his late rise to fame, his trust in great writing, and his belief that skepticism sustains a career more than passion ever could. He recalls working with Guillermo del Toro on Frankenstein and with Luc Besson on Dracula, finding interest not in fame but in process.

Photographed by Martins, Waltz moves through quiet interiors and ivy-covered courtyards, dressed in tailoring, suiting, and long coats that suggest both intellect and mischief. The portraits show a man who has learned that craft, like cinema itself, depends on patience, care, and the refusal to act when stillness will do.
