The campaign treats California’s rugged coast and open fields as the natural stage for clothing designed with substance.

The October Edit emphasizes materials with history: wool in herringbone, heavy-gauge knitwear, corduroy trousers, leather jackets, and denim cut to last. Each fabric has played multiple roles in menswear.
Wool coats moved from military issue to city formality. Corduroy carried associations of both the countryside and the university. Denim shifted from labor to leisure, a constant symbol of American character. Together, they create a wardrobe that feels rooted and adaptable.
Each image positions the clothing as gear for lived environments. Styled by Evan Simonitsch, Corenswet wears a herringbone overcoat paired with jeans against a wall of stone, suggesting utility. A belted leather jacket is framed on dirt paths, while a fisherman’s sweater works in open fields with a dog at his side.
In Corenswet’s own words, the October Edit is “comfortable, with a rugged functionality that holds up when the weather turns.” He highlights the overcoat and the leather jacket as “ready to be deployed for many an adventure or occasion,” which captures the campaign’s philosophy: Banana Republic clothing as equipment for real life.
