Roberto Cavalli Spring/Summer 2014

roberto cavalli spring summer 2014 collection 0012 Roberto Cavalli Spring/Summer 2014

Sharp Elegance–Mirroring the collection’s dark theme, fashion photographer Rankin shoots the spring/summer 2014 look book of Italian label Roberto Cavalli. Drawn to the exotic appeal of middle eastern cities at night, Roberto Cavalli envisions the shadows of night, the glare of the moonlight and timeless cities untouched by a modern attitude because of strong character. In this environment, Roberto Cavalli and his son Daniele fashion a new gentleman. Imagining the gentleman who would visit the antique private courtyard of Via Cappuccio, an existing landmark from the 1200’s, printed leathers and fabrics are combined with light wools and jacquards. An elegant figure with an edgy tendencies, the Cavalli man is fine suited with tailored separates in jeweled hues, transitioning from the dark sleek fit of leather to an evening tuxedo.
