New Day–Wallpaper magazine, G-Star RAW and Ryan Gander come together to create 30 limited edition pairs of trousers in an effort to promote Japan’s New New Day. Artist Ryan Gander painted 30 pairs of Arc style G-Star RAW denim trousers to mimic dripping paint. The concept is to provide a visual representation of Japan’s New Day which encourages people to paint buildings white. Trousers also come with ‘Arata-Chan’ attached. Arata-Chan is a figurine that is the symbol of New Day. The trousers went on sale August 1st and will be available while supplies lasts in random stores.
