Luxury’s Future–Despite a slowdown in luxury sales in both the U.S. and in China, Gucci’s CEO Patrizio di Marco is confident in the future of the industry, and therefore in Gucci. Gucci has kept up with the times by successfully growing their e-commerce market, which goes along with the online luxury sales growing about twice as fast as the rest of the market. Di Marco added in an interview with Closing Bell that the U.S. luxury market is still young but makes up 30% of the market, and that it has time to grow.
