There is a certain inevitability to Mads Mikkelsen’s continued tenure at the center of Zegna’s seasonal dispatches. He wears the clothes like someone who didn’t have to think too hard about it, and that is the point.
For summer 2025, the campaign unfolds against a sunlit Italian backdrop. The palette is pale, the mood relaxed, and the clothes follow suit. There is Oasi Lino tailoring in clay and tobacco tones, a navy camp shirt patterned with something loosely botanical, and a white linen popover that feels ready for its next long weekend.
Zegna Summer 2025 Campaign

There is beachwear, technically speaking, but nothing overtly casual. Swim trunks are tailored enough to pass for proper shorts. Shirts are breezy but never billowing.

The moccasins, worn sockless as they should be, balance a soft step with a strong outline. They would look equally at home by the pool or on a city pavement.

Zegna’s approach to sustainability remains characteristically understated. No slogans, no QR codes. Just traceable fabrics with a provenance, if you care to ask.

And Mads Mikkelsen? Still as assured as ever, and all the more compelling for it. As brand ambassadors go, he remains Zegna’s best argument for ease as luxury. He is a man dressed not for effect, but for everything else.
