Y-3 Fall/Winter 2014 Campaign–Continuing the theme of superheroes, model Adam Butcher kicks the season into high gear, starring in Y-3’s fall/winter 2014 campaign. The label mixes things up this season, enlisting photographer Cedric Buchet and stylist Jodie Barnes for the new ad. Capturing a playful message that is surreal and optimistic, Buchet photographs Adam alongside Katya Riabinkini. The campaign perfectly reflects Yohji Yamamoto’s fall/winter 2014 collection for the label. Yamamoto explains, “The collection pays homage to the couturiers of the 60’s. I wanted to infuse this spirit into it. I was also thinking of superheroes and the kind of clothes they wear. Cut for an active and fighting life style. So I brought these two worlds together.” / Creative direction by Lloyd & Co. Director of Photography: Bill Stepanoski. Grooming by Holli Smith and Adrien Pinault.
