Body Language–Drawing inspiration from film director Wim Wenders, stylist Monika Kropfitsch and photographer Thomas Krappitz collaborate with model Willy Cartier, the face of the Givenchy 2011 Campaign, and the dancers of the Ballet National de Marseille for an expressive and artistic editorial for Marie Claire Italia. Set against a heavily geometric building designed by Le Corbusier, Willy and the dancers take readers on a beautiful and dynamic visual ride that clashes the fluidity of an unrestrained movement against strict, urban lines, while exploring the subtle boundaries between fashion, art, and performance.
