Taking to the catwalk during London Fashion Week, designer Donatella Versace presented the spring-summer 2017 collection of Versus Versace. Following the departure of Anthony Vaccarello, who is slated for his debut as Saint Laurent creative director, the collection was created by Versus’ in-house design team.

Embracing a young rebellious attitude, the lineup championed a modern cool. Juxtaposing the timeless image of the bad boy with a contemporary flair, leather jackets were shown alongside sports-inspired apparel.

On one end of the spectrum, Versus turned out an updated spin on the leather biker jacket, embracing a sleeveless alternative. On a more sporty note, the idea of the ultimate statement jacket collided with the windbreaker and bomber for short fresh styles. Ripped denim also made an impression with rips unveiling an aluminum mesh.
