Celebrate!–To celebrate her 25th anniversary at the helm of the Italian edition of Vogue, Franca Sozzani, the magazine’s Editor-in-Chief, enlists once more photographer Steven Meisel to shoot six different covers, that pay homage to six Italian major labels. The cover that celebrates the impact that Dolce & Gabbana’s sense of style has achieved worldwide is a tribute to the brand’s iconic campaigns, and to achieve this task, Meisel focuses his lens on Dolce & Gabbana’s former muses, model Tony Ward, and Brazilian beauty Gisele Bündchen. Captured in black & white, the models are styled by Karl Templer in Dolce & Gabbana’s Sicilian-inspired designs, and pose for a glamorous family portrait, in pure Dolce & Gabbana style. / Hair by Guido Palau. Makeup by Pat McGrath.
