Have you ever seen someone and said: “Wow, he really has style”! And yet, looking well, he wore a rather basic outfit. But even by detailing a little outfit, you could not put your finger on what made the difference …

An outfit is not just an assembly of a top with a stocking and possibly a jacket or a vest … Well, but if you want to style you have to add this little extra stuff. And this little trick is to know how to appropriate your clothes.

Starting from the base that the experience is a degree and that in the imperfection lies the true beauty, today we give you some tips in the form of tips, to feel better when we look in the mirror.

Yes, as you read it. Very easy!

And no, everything is not to show the latest trends in the fashion market. The most important thing is to feel good about ourselves. It knows how to get the most out of our silhouette, empowering our virtues, and downplaying defects. If you wish, rock a plus size casual outfit.

In this article, I wanted to give you some tips for you too to have the style with a simple outfit.

1 – Roll up the pants

To own your clothes, do not wear them as they are. And for that, nothing like the “roll-up.”

Rather than wearing your pants a little too long, roll it up! You give it more speed, and you release your ankle.

What’s magic with rolled-up pants is that you lie down your leg while adjusting it to fit your waist!

Some small details:

• Roll pants close to the body: straight, slim, carrot (tightened at the ankle). We do not roll up wide pants or a bootcut!

• If you have 30 cm of pants in excess … make a hem first! To roll up, it is necessary that the amount of fabric is not too significant either. Flip your pants up 2-3 times.

• Make your reverse not too high. This is not yet the fashion of the 25 cm lapel (or so I did not see it pass). But even if it happens, it would be an ephemeral fashion … Make a lapel of about 5 cm high.

2 – Pull out the shirt sleeves of your sweater

In the same spirit as for rolling up pants, play with your long sleeves. And especially with the shirt sleeves.

If you wear your shirt under a sweater or vest, think to bring out the wrists!

You bring a touch of contrast at the wrists, and that can make all the difference in your outfit.

On a more summery outfit, also think about rolling up your shirt sleeves to lighten your look.

3 – Put on a belt, even if the pants stand alone

We often think that a belt only serves to hold his pants … And so if he is all alone, why bother with a belt?

Simply because with a cute belt, you bring the finishing touches to your outfit. It is the accessory that can make the difference between a lambda outfit and a well-finished outfit.

For a touch of originality, you can also use a beautiful scarf as a belt.

And for clothes that are sold with a belt, do not be afraid to change! The problem with these belts sold with clothing is that they are often of very poor quality and tend to be damaged very quickly.

However, if it is still in good condition, you can also wear it on a different garment than the one with which it was sold! Do not be afraid to play with your clothes!

4 – Belt everything

This advice is especially worth it if you have a marked size: think about adding a belt on your jackets, your vests, even your coats.

If you have a small size, however, avoid putting a belt on already thick clothing. You may thicken your figure.

But whatever your morphology, you can try adding a belt to your dresses. Worn low waist or waist, you can rediscover your dresses in another light!

And in the same vein: if you have belt loops on your dress, you do not have to use them! If these are low waist but you prefer to mark the size, move the belt! Keeping in mind that its cut and the position allows it to remain harmonious.

5 – Try the overlays

Here, the guest star is the shirt! White shirt, denim shirt, patterned shirt …

To give relief to your outfit, you can push the bottom of a shirt or blouse out of your sweater.

Remember to wear a shirt as if it were a jacket.

Wear your low-cut shirt with a patterned t-shirt underneath or with lace to match your style.

You can still tie the bottom of your shirt rather than tucking it into the pants.

Test, improve, find your favorite way to wear the shirt differently!

6 – Tuck the top down and get bloused

That’s really the little detail that changes everything! Going downstairs is an art … But it’s not complicated!

First, to appear less strict, when you get your top in your pants, think to make it slightly blouse by pulling gently on it. You create a little ease, and your outfit seems more relaxed.

Then you can try the “front tuck” or the “side tuck.” I do not know if there are such concise conversions to someone. But basically, it‘s just getting one end of your blouse or shirt on the front or side.

This gives a casual look (the shirt does not really fit in the pants), but at the same time, you structure your silhouette by creating a break in the waist. And it’s also an opportunity to unveil a piece of belt.

And so many others!

I’m sure you too have your little tips to customize your outfit. Tell us in the comment about how you play with your clothes to have this touch of style and more!
