Designer Thom Browne is an undeniable master of craftsmanship and showmanship. Browne’s fall-winter 2015 menswear collection was no different. Showing on the last day of Paris Fashion Week, Browne delivered the season perhaps its most dramatic performance with a collection that romanticizes a funeral procession. Paying tribute to a young man, who passes away after completing his life’s work, tailored suiting was presented in an incredible fashion. Hitting the catwalk in mourning, treading over ash, in comparison to Givenchy’s red glitter, Thom Browne’s man was adorned in silk, lace, tulle, fur and taffeta. The lineup fit to honor passed royalty included layered jackets, paneled topcoats, modest skirts, printed suits and embellished overcoats.
