To say that Thom Browne has a wicked sense of humor would be an understatement. Known for his dramatic flair, the American designer turned to surfing as an inspiration. Unveiling his spring-summer 2017 collection during Paris Fashion Week, Browne sent models out in oversize grey wet suits. Removing their suits, the models revealed short suits in a sea of colors. Quirky proportions and one-pieces were juxtaposed with whimsical parrot-inspired numbers. Stripping down for one final wardrobe change, the models took their final walk in vintage one-piece bathing suits. Browne brought the cheeky season full circle with festive surfboards.
