Victor Glemaud’s fall collection was about somber colors and the gradual unraveling of clothes. The collection was well-done, but it is relief to see Glemaud return to bright poppy colors for spring. This season, Glemaud’s signature knits take a backseat to collaborative pieces. Spawning a great selection of swimming trunks in both vibrant and pastel colors, Glemaud has joined up with Quicksilver as well as Gitman Bros. for shirts and Mackintosh for coats. With all these collaborations on hand, it is nice to see such a talented designer be presented with the opportunity to grow their business.
