Max Joseph of Catfish fame makes his major directorial debut with We Are Your Friends. The picture stars Zac Efron, Wes Bentley and Emily Ratajkowski. Hitting theaters August 28, 2015, the movie also features Alex Shaffer, Jonny Weston and Shiloh Fernandez. Led by Efron as Cole Carter, the teenage movie has a simple, straightforward plot: “An aspiring DJ looks to make it in the electronic music scene.”
