Description
This is about as classic as a topcoat gets. The Balmacaan takes its name from the Scottish estate near Inverness where this style was reportedly first seen in the 19th Century. The key attributes are raglan sleeves (unstructured), a fly-button front, a Prussian collar (it resembles a men’s shirt more than a suit lapel) and a slightly slouchy fit. There’s nothing slouchy about the fabrication, though: the cloth is a double-faced wool/cashmere blend for a luxurious yet substantial hand feel and genuine horn buttons.Imported Italian fabric.80% virgin wool, 20% cashmere.Relaxed fit.Fits true to size but the body is relaxed.Looks equally smart with everything from joggers up to a suit.Style tip: Wear with a bold striped sweater for a graphic pop.Dry Clean Only.
