Something tells us that Bruno Mars wouldn’t mind wearing a look or two from Junya Watanabe’s latest collection. For fall-winter 2015, the designer took a step away from the rustic chic fashions of past seasons to present a collection, rich in formal dressing. Delivering impeccably tailored suiting, 60s styles were revisited as day and evening looks collided. Blending materials seamlessly, knit double-breasted jackets were easily pulled off with lean, denim jeans or a relaxed cardigan successfully layered underneath a pinstripe coat. Skillfully mixing fabrics in unexpected ways, Watanabe delivered the best of both casual and formal menswear.
