No stranger to rock icons, whether its looking for the new stars of an advertising campaign or a muse for the season, designer John Varvatos found the perfect candidate for fall in Bob Dylan. Varvatos was inspired by an image of Dylan that photographer Richard Avedon had snapped in Central Park in 1965. Littering the catwalk with fallen leaves, Varvatos brought the image into the present with a modern collection, showcasing tailored styles that men simply desire to wear. Dressed in autumnal hues with a leading man slant, trim coats were paired with leather pants, shearling and leather reunited for a classic combo, scarves with modest proportions added and the odd print or two prescribed to a suit for a strong fall effort.
