Jared Leto lands the December 2015 cover of Empire magazine. Appearing in character as The Joker with green hair and red lips, Leto promotes Suicide Squad. Offering up a fresh take on The Joker, the 43 year-old actor is pictured in a metallic purple trench coat and sweatpants. Talking about the extent to which he get involved in the role, Leto shares, “There was definitely a period of…detachment. I took a pretty deep dive. But this was a unique opportunity and I couldn’t imagine doing it another way. It was fun, playing those psychological games. But at the same time it was very painful, like giving birth out of my prick hole.”
