Italian fashion brand Iceberg has found its menswear creative director in designer James Long. Known for his innovative approach to knitwear, Long has been a highlight in London’s menswear scene since his runway debut for fall-winter 2008. Continuing work on his eponymous label, Long will also serve as creative director for Iceberg.

Gilmar Group CEO Paolo Gerani discusses Long’s appointment, sharing, “The sportswear aesthetic, the innovative approach to knitwear, the passion for prints and the employ of technical fabrics, make James Long the right creative director of Iceberg menswear collection, interpreting the DNA of the brand, made of handcrafting, research, knitwear, bold colours and playfulness; always respecting the Made in Italy.”

James Long will present his first menswear collection for Iceberg during the fall-winter 2016 edition of Milan Fashion Week in January 2016.
