Hilfiger Denim takes inspiration from classic rock ‘n’ roll style for its fall-winter 2015 People’s Place Originals collection. Model Malcolm Lindberg is front and center for the outing, representing the young image of the brand. Discussing the new collection, which features graphic t-shirts, skinny denim jeans and relaxed button-downs, designer Tommy Hilfiger shares, “People’s Place was the first store I opened as a teenager in 1969 and it became one of the coolest hangouts in my small hometown. Our friends would come by and we would burn incense, listen to music and have concerts in the basement. Our signature look reflected the styles of our favorite rock stars, with leather jackets, distressed denim and ’70s graphics. We channel this look in our Fall 2015 People’s Place Originals capsule collection, giving quintessential rock-and-roll styles a fresh twist. It’s our interpretation of wardrobe classics made famous by the most rebellious icons.”
