#DGNYC–Italian luxury label Dolce & Gabbana has just open its new boutique in New York City, bringing a little of Sicily to Fifth Avenue. The new store, which covers 1600 square meters on three floors, is a tribute to Sicilian culture, which is one of the core values of the brand. Conceived as a stylish place that evokes memories of an old and less frenetic era, the new boutique has been designed to represent the idea of Italian elegance, thanks to the use of luminous Carrara marble, precious woods, luxury golden details and baroque inspired mirrors. Displaying the brand’s latest collections, including a successful line of fragrances and makeup products, in a relaxed atmosphere that conciliates beauty with glamour, the new boutique surely represents one of the biggest investments for the designers, who lead a fashionable group worth 1 billion Euros a year.
