Kris Van Assche is a Belgian fashion designer. Van Assche studied at the Antwerp Royal Academy of Fine Arts. Born on May 12, 1976, Van Assche is most known for his work as the creative director of Dior Homme. However, Van Assche received his start as the first assistant of Hedi Slimane at Yves Saint Laurent. Following the designer to Dior, Van Assche worked on the launch of Dior Homme. The Belgian designer eventually took over the creative reigns of the label, following Slimane’s departure.
