Hailing from Georgia, Demna Gvasalia is a fashion photographer who received his education at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts. After leading design teams at Louis Vuitton and Maison Martin Margiela, Gvasalia launched Vetements. After proven success, the designer was appointed as Balenciaga’s creative director.
