The Kooples brings a European sensibility to its spring-summer 2019 collection. Alexandre Elicha continues to deviate from the traditional idea of rock ‘n’ roll style with a relaxed approach to proportions. Outside its signature skinny jeans and timeless leather biker jackets, volume is brought to shirts and outerwear. Demonstrating a smart juxtaposition of lean and oversized proportions, models Jean-Noel Le Bail, Maxime Frenel, and Jeremie Kandala come together for the season’s lookbook. They sport key pieces that range from patterned camp-collar shirts and sporty jackets to statement bombers. The French label also rests nicely on its rock heritage with a graphics from the iconic Sex Pistols.
