Newly appointed creative director Paul Surridge brings a sensible edge to Roberto Cavalli’s opulent legacy. Surridge sets the groundwork with his pre-fall 2018 collection. Starring in the lookbook, model Finnlay Davis is a suave image. Slim-fit tailoring takes center stage as the Roberto Cavalli man embraces separates. The brand’s signatures penetrate the collection with the use of leather and leopard prints. Hero pieces range from a velvet blazer to an embellished cable-knit sweater. In addition to three-piece suits, the lineup also features a western style element. Fringe adorned leather jackets, leather boots, distressed denim, and vests amplify the collection’s relaxed component.
