After an abrupt departure from his creative post at Calvin Klein, designer Raf Simons returns to the catwalk with his fall-winter 2019 collection. Simons goes long and tailored for the season as he focuses on construction. Floor-length coats join pleated trousers, oversized sweaters, cropped jackets, and crisp shirts. A somber color palette opens up to a variety of bright rich hues. Simons captures a spirit of optimism with details such as butterflies. Not one to shy away from the art world, Simons also features photo patches with stills from David Lynch films.
