On the final day of Paris Fashion Week, Paul Smith joins the growing number of designers to turn the page on streetwear. It’s back to more formal menswear as Smith revisits his archives for inspiration. The wide lapel reigns as Smith draws our attention to oversized proportions and relaxed trousers. Not one to play it too straight, there’s always some charm to be found in a Paul Smith collection. For spring, Smith juxtaposes traditional checks and windowpane patterns with photo prints. However, these are not just any photos. The selection features photography by Smith and his father. Smith also captures the spirit of the season with a splash of pastel hues.
