Marni designer Francesco Risso caters to the adventurous man with his fall-winter 2018 collection. Risso marries Marni’s storied penchant for proportions with fun prints and colors for the season. Oversized coats come together with cropped knit vests, patterned shirts, and knit jumpers. Meanwhile, pants take on a slouchy fit. Channeling a fisherman, the Marni man embraces a luxurious spin on rubber boots as well as coveralls and the raincoat. Transitioning into bolder styles, images of monkeys cover statement pieces like a flap pocket leather jacket. Stripes and plaids also contribute to the season’s highlights with key items such as a duffle coat or near floor-length alternative. A hint of travels East add ornate boxy shirts and rich hues to the mix.
