Luca Larenza Spring 2026 Holds a Line Between Art & Place

The Fashionisto / Published June 26, 2025

Luca Larenza introduces A Mediterranean Reverie, a spring-summer 2026 capsule shaped by collaboration and a strong sense of place. The collection was developed at Villa Elisa, Larenza’s creative retreat, where the landscape offers both inspiration and continuity.

Surrounded by Mediterranean light and texture, the garments reflect the simple beauty of the environment. Polos and knitwear fall with sincerity. Shoulders are relaxed, and motifs of birds and suns act as grounding elements across softened silhouettes.

New York illustrator Rob Wilson, a guest at the villa, contributes an interpretive layer to the season. His drawings suggest impressions of holidays filtered through memory. A villa drawn in quick lines, with “Villa Elisa” written below in red, becomes part of the textile language.

Rather than sitting on the surface, these illustrations are integrated directly into jacquard knits, interrupting solid color with a Mediterranean shorthand. Even the more straightforward looks advance the season’s story. A pale yellow crew neck meets brown cargo shorts, shifting the palette with subtlety.

Material choices respond to the season with a selection of light linen, silk, and mouliné cotton. Shorts sit high and elongate the frame. Overshirts, knit jackets, and trousers complete the lineup.

Luca Larenza’s styling remains direct. Tommaso Crotti, cast solo, moves naturally through the space. The clothes remain still, captured by photographer Mary Ianniciello. Light and surface define the mood, allowing color and fabric to meet the environment. In the end, A Mediterranean Reverie holds its focus through place and design.
