Lacoste’s spring-summer 2018 outing serves as a homecoming of sorts. Celebrating its 85th anniversary, Lacoste unveiled its collection during Paris Fashion Week. Until recently, Lacoste was a brand at New York Fashion Week. Turning back the hands of time, the French label celebrates its heritage with a Parisian showing. Evoking images of the seventies, models took to the catwalk with curly hairstyles and mustaches. Designer Felipe Oliveira Baptista embraces a relaxed hand for the season. Slouchy proportions are plentiful with vintage-style color blocking. Making a case for separates, Lacoste’s signature polo is right at home with cardigans, half-zip pullovers, blue jeans, and sports coats.
