Givenchy artistic director Clare Waight Keller reinterprets tradition with her fall-winter 2020 men’s collection for the French fashion house. Aiming for a “new elegance,” Keller focuses on menswear with the capability of self-expression. Sleek tailoring is juxtaposed with an “unbridled opulence and psychedelia.” Double-breasted jackets and coats are layered with patterned knitwear and clean collared shirts. Meanwhile, leather jackets and oversized sweaters pack an everyday appeal for Givenchy’s casual wardrobe.
