When it comes to Italian fashion, Emporio Armani has the market cornered on metropolitan style. Designer Giorgio Armani doubles down on the label’s contemporary aesthetic with its fall-winter 2018 collection. Showcasing the “EA” universe, Armani opened the season’s show with gradient print looks from the sporty EA7 line. The modern looks were quickly followed by dark monochromatic numbers from Emporio Armani. Embellished with faux fur, jackets and coats made the season’s statement. Meanwhile, pleated trousers in wool and velvet delivered an understated cool. A myriad of graphic prints also decorated the collection. Always fulfilling the formal quotient, Armani rounded out its show with luxurious velvet suits.
