Dolce & Gabbana Alta Sartoria celebrates knowledge and wisdom with its pre-fall 2020 collection. Designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana utilize their vast experience and pursuit to push boundaries in traditional menswear to elevate elegant standards. Returning to Milan for the season, the historical library of Biblioteca Ambrosiana serves as the backdrop for Dolce & Gabbana’s latest runway show. The Italian fashion house’s lineup takes inspiration from the library’s rich art collection to include the work of revered painters such as Sandro Botticelli and Michelangelo Merisi da Caravaggio. Toning down the color palette for the season, Dolce & Gabbana decorates its sharp suits and refined sportswear with gold accents and touches of fur and velvet.
