Diesel presents its “Brave Academy” with its pre-spring 2018 collection. Artistic director Nicola Formichetti explains how the range channels the brand’s nineties spirit, but updates must-have fashions for today. Formichetti says, “I wanted this collection to be like a code. We play with the details and elements and it’s for you to mix things up in your own way. There’s no need for crazy styling because the clothes are already enough.” The lineup features casual pieces such as hoodies and sweatshirts, made with a unisex purpose. Souvenir jackets also join the fray, adding an alternative to the timeless denim jacket. Other highlights include the brand’s SKB sneakers and a neoprene backpack called the Subtoryal.
